If you were in any doubt about the impact that your fundraising will have, here’s a snapshot video of our visit to Paul TODAY, and he’s back nailing Forza Motorsport 7.
Paul has muscular dystrophy, and although he can just about hold a controller, he struggles to play for any length of time and doesn’t have the finger strength to use the shoulder and stick buttons.
After trying out a range of different equipment with him, Nomi and Liz worked out that a mini PS3 controller, modified with light-spring sticks, remapped shoulder switches and mounted on a sturdy fixed arm, would finally give him the freedom to really enjoying his games again, including the FPS games he hadn’t played in a while.
